Recent activities: I'm currently serving a two-year term (2024-2026) on the Columbia Fiction Foundry Executive Committee. The CFF offers Columbia alumni writers a place to develop their craft and participate in book talks and industry events. Recordings of these are usually open to all.

I’m working on a couple of longer projects. One is a memoir chronicling two years of my childhood. It’s an attempt to reformulate the propellant used for an improbable journey: from a tiny pueblo high in the Andes to a bumpy landing at an Ivy League campus a few years later.
